The center and western side of the Corfu Island offers majestic beaches and scenery to the tourists and its locals. The famous beaches of Paleokastritsa are waiting to explore their magnificent seabed. And then enjoy your drink at the beach bar on the sandy beaches of Glyfada and Kontogialos.

Visit Paleokastritsa, the most exquisite location that you can come across. It is termed as the jewel of Corfu. Paleokastritsa has seven beaches, and each beach is separated from each other by capes that are round in shape.

Then drive to Lakwnes Villages and find out Angelokastro castle or the Angel castle that takes you back in history as few remnants of the past still exist and stand tall today. The castle also has a cave that has a church constructed inside it. The ancient church is dedicated and created for the two most prominent angels Angel Gabriel and Angel Michael.

If you wish to make your summer more attractive, then Aqualand Water Park is the right option for you. It has a range of water sport activities that can help you get rid of the hot and humid weather. You can either swim in the water or enjoy a meal while you watch your kids having the time of their life.

Do visit Gylfada and Kontogialos beaches if you are willing to explore the western side of Corfu. The crystal clear turquoise water, sandy bay coupled with peace and tranquility on the sides is a perfect spot to relax.

Don’t forget, at the center area of the Island is the capital and the historic center of Corfu. Spend at least 1-2 days to visit the old town and the monuments there.
